The whole project in one system

A construction project is not one company’s performance. The client, the main contractor, the subcontractors, the designers and the material suppliers are all doing the same work, but normally each in their own system and on their own information. Information moves between them as emails, phone calls and spreadsheets, and every handover is a place where something goes unsaid.

CALS brings these parties to the same material data. When a supplier records a delivery, the site sees it. When the site issues a call-in, the request that brings material from the supplier or the warehouse to the site at the moment it is needed, logistics knows about it without a separate message. Each party sees the material data that belongs to their own work: the supplier their own deliveries, the contractor their own work packages. Visibility is defined together with the client at the start of the project. Everyone involved can be included, because the number of users is not limited and network users are not charged separately.

CALS is a tool, not a logistics service. It works with any logistics partner you choose, including your own organisation, and using it does not require buying a service alongside it.
